There are two subjects that are constantly present in my creative process: nature and waste. My main interest is to establish a relationship between them. My goal is to revalue these materials, study them, and discover their potential in order to give them a new use. I primarily work with materials that come from nature, such as earth, ash, wood, and clay.
The process of obtaining these materials from nature, analyzing them, cleaning them, separating them, and combining them with other materials leads me to the creation of something new. It is a creative process that materializes the series of steps through which dust something that may seem like nothing is transformed into objects, into something, or into space.
My works are generally a mix of discarded materials and elements connected to nature. By establishing a relationship between them, I seek to make use of these materials in a completely new and different way, allowing them to acquire another function, another presence, and another meaning.
